There are pieces of my heart all over this planet. It is a bittersweet existence, with heartstrings pulled in multiple directions. But the end of this journey will result in a culmination of events and experiences and memories I can pull out and savor when my life is in it's twilight. 

This way of living may contradict the human urge to settle and put down roots, but there is such beauty in every place we wander to. Whenever one heartstring pulls harder than the others it is difficult to see the worth in where I am, but in time the pull slackens and the clouds part and I am once again in awe of how lucky we are to have this world.
