the time has come.

I have an iphone 3GS. And I love it. It's going on three years old and I have never felt the need to upgrade.

But today I got the message that it's memory is full. 4,325 photos full.

Now, I know I can start deleting stuff and make more room, but I don't want to. Even though I have all the photos uploaded onto my computer I freak out at the thought of deleting stuff, just in case. I mean, I got this phone right after Rob left for OCS, in January 2010. That's a lot of life this phone has covered.

I have an upgrade available, so now I have a decision to make: Should I get an iphone 4, iphone 4S, or iphone 5?

Of course each model goes up in price, and I'm tempted just to go with the iphone 4 since it's only 99 cents, but at the same time I don't want to get another phone for another 3 years.

So tell me people, is there a big difference between the 3 models? Any advice on which I should get? I'm probably not going to bite the bullet for at least a couple more weeks (I just can't take any photos... :( ) so I have time to mull it over.

And fingers crossed I can stick with our current plan!! One of the perks to having the same plan from 3 years ago is we have unlimited data!

And yes, Rob was not too happy when I told him his manly little men were trying on my high heels. But he felt a lot better when I told him they pretty much wore just long enough for me to snap a couple pictures (and I had to be quick, hence the poor quality phone pictures) before getting disgusted with them and returning to their hot wheels.

Also, Max's feet are only 3 sizes away from mine. He's SIX. Holy moly.

whew.

This week was hard. And today really topped it off.

It's hard to be a mom. It's 24/7. And now that I have 3, it feels like 72/21.

There has been no motivation here either. I know the exact cause and thankfully that case will be gone next week, but then I will have to fight a new battle. And it's an even scarier one.

My house is a disaster (note above). I do not like it.

Oskar has pink eye. Which means we're all going to have pink eye. So we're on lock down until further notice.

It took 4 hours just to get that fact confirmed. After already being out and about for four hours.

It was a long day.

But we did find out Oskar has gained another pound the past week. Little pig.

Being gone that long meant the dog was in her crate that long. So a trip to the dog park was necessary to curb her crazy. (and believe me, I'm having major mommy guilt over this. We were NOT supposed to be gone that long)

So I'm off to crawl into bed with a chick flick. (Rob has no say in this matter...) Chocolate covered strawberries would help too, but an ice cold pepsi will have to suffice.

As a farewell, here is a picture of how my brain feels these days:

One day in the past couple months this crazy dust devil blew across the highway. I'm pretty sure I've got a few of them inside my head scrambling things around...

those. lips.

I can't get enough of them. I don't know where they came from, and so far they are unique to him. All I do know is they'll probably get him into trouble someday. The lips, the hair, his name = recipe for disaster. Thank goodness I still have a few years to prepare myself for those days...

It's probably a good thing my body freaks out when i'm pregnant, otherwise I'd probably end up with 20 kids. And that's just so I could squish on 20 babies. But seriously, there is nothing quite so sweet as the first few months of a baby's life. And while Oskar is definitely a Harmon, he looks different than his brothers (Max and Nick looked so similar as newborns that the frist few months after Nick was born was like deja-vu to me and it freaked me out) so I am just eating him and his uniqueness up. Oskar is about 2 months old now and at his check-up he weighed in at 11 pounds 11 ounces, ending up in the 47th percentile for weight. I know that doesn't sound that big a deal to you, but since my other two babies were always in the 20-something percentile for weight Oskar is a chunker! Although I'm not that surprised since eating is pretty much all he does when he's awake. Besides look cute and let me take lots and lots of photos of him. (babies are the best to photograph, especially when they can't run away yet. And that is the reason why you see more photos of Oskar than the other two) Also, we're thinking there's a chance Oskar will be a ginger. Only time will tell, but we're hoping!

things to note:
-we stayed the night in Holbrook AZ at an awesome KOA. Our first time camping in about 2 years.
-pictures do not do this place justice.
-Nick really likes his belly button.
-the picture of Nick and I and the one of Yula from behind were taken by Max.
-this day was our 8 year wedding anniversary!!
-after seeing us take an arms length picture of ourselves (in which I am out of focus) a kind stranger offered to take one for us.
-it. was. so. hot.
-we LOVE the cargo hauler on the back of our car. (since we now lost the trunk space to the dog)
-Rob loves cars.
-old route 66 cuts through the park so there was a little monument to it. I thought the entire road still existed, but only some parts do. The rest have been swallowed back up by it's surroundings. All that is left of this section are the out of use utility poles.
