just thinking...

So, I promise there is a meaty post somewhere in the near future, I just have to download the pictures off my camera first.

But in the meantime, I was just wondering: do all the rest of you women out there have as much trouble with your hips as I do? I have no idea if I had this problem before Max, but it just might have been because I didn't have a child yet. But I find myself knocking him over with my hips ALL THE TIME. And it's not like I swing them into him or anything, it's completely unintentional. Perhaps it's because our children always seem glued to our sides or maybe he's just the perfect height, but every time I walk by him I manage to knock his head or hit his arm if he's drinking or something. And I really don't think my hips are THAT big, I mean, I can't even find a pair of jeans small enough for heaven's sake. So I don't what the deal is- am I alone in this?

  1. haha..no i dont think so. i didnt have hips at all before i had jake, and now they have definitely popped out. and i have the problem of not only running into everything with them, but i knock over stuff with my bum all the time when i am bending over, and let me tell you, nothing makes you feel more like a pig than knocking stuff over with your bum..except maybe when you are scarfing down junk food and spill it on your shirt. just my opinion

  2. It's probably just the perfect height. I'm always accidentally kicking the cat because he's running around my feet while I walk. I have the world's largest hips, so I'll let you know if they get in the way when I have a two year old. They get in the way of putting jeans on, for sure!

  3. No your hips are not big! Don't be crazy. It is probably because he is always near you.

  4. hahahaha! "don't be crazy!" i agree with natalie. but one thing i have learned in this pregnancy with rachelle is that my hips HURT all the time. i guess when they popped out they never "popped back in", so if you're already thinking you're hips have changed, good luck with the hip pain. although i hope you don't have it.

  5. Not so much my hips, but my butt! I swear, I've knocked over things in stores just by walking around. It's awful!
